After building a network of users and driver-partners, Lalamove announces to expand its business into Chonburi aiming at supporting the local economy and Thai entrepreneurs.
Lalamove, a leading on-demand delivery platform, officially launched operations in Pattaya, identifying the city as a new strategic market.
Ben Lin, managing director of Lalamove Thailand, stated: “Pattaya is a high-potential city in both economic and tourism sectors. We see more than just a business opportunity — we deeply understand the needs of local businesses and residents. Whether supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with cost-effective, customizable delivery services or serving as a reliable logistics partner for the MICE and tourism industries, Lalamove is ready to provide real-time solutions for this rapidly growing city. In the long term, we aim to be the delivery partner that fosters sustainable growth in Pattaya through income generation for our driver-partners, empowering local entrepreneurs with efficient delivery tools, and enhancing convenience for residents and visitors alike.”
Chonburi is one of Thailand’s major economic hubs, with a gross provincial product (GPP) of about 1.06 billion baht. In 2024 alone, the province, including Pattaya, welcomed 24 million visitors, generating more than 200 billion in tourism revenue.
Since 2023, Lalamove has significantly expanded operations in the province, rapidly growing its user base. The company now boasts over 10,000 driver-partners in Chonburi, with an average of 2,000 new partner applications per month. It also has a customer base exceeding 12,000 users, which has grown nearly 1.5 times in just one year. Over 75% of all orders in Chonburi are interprovincial deliveries to key economic zones and industrial estates in Chachoengsao, Rayong, and Greater Bangkok.
The core customer base for Lalamove in Chonburi consists of MSMEs, which are businesses that rely heavily on regular logistics services first to last mile. These enterprises represent more than 99% of all businesses in Thailand and contribute approximately 35.17% of the country's GDP (Q4 2024 data).
He said that Pattaya is emerging as a strategic hub for MICE and tourism in Eastern Thailand. The city hosts over 500,000 MICE travelers annually, generating more than 11 billion baht in revenue — a figure that continues to grow year over year. Given logistics is a fundamental need for MICE operators, Lalamove has identified Pattaya as a key focus for service expansion in 2025.
The company has outlined three primary target groups in Pattaya including restaurants seeking timely delivery solutions,
tourists requiring fast, reliable transport for luggage or goods as well as SMEs and online businesses in need of dependable logistics services.
Lalamove continues to support Pattaya’s SME ecosystem with delivery services for all types of products — from construction materials and F&B items to goods from industrial estates. With features like real-time GPS tracking, instant driver matching, and multi-stop delivery, Lalamove helps local businesses boost service reliability and efficiency.

Key benefits for users and driver-partners include fast delivery channels to reduce costs, increase sales, and expand markets for local businesses.
It is also convenient, real-time tracking services for general consumers. Moreover, it provides sustainable income generation and exclusive benefits for driver-partners.
To support local engagement, Lalamove has opened a driver-partner application center in Chonburi and is planning to expand service points across Pattaya and neighboring provinces. Lalamove, offers a wide range of logistics services through 8 vehicle types, supporting both intra-provincial and inter-provincial deliveries. Services are available across Bangkok, Greater Bangkok, and Chonburi.
