Central Pattana Plc(CPN) , Thailand’s leading real estate developer and operator of Central shopping centers, reaffirms its role as a global culturetainment platform by transforming the Thai Songkran festival into a world- class event.
With an investment of over 500 million baht, CPN presents “Thailand’s Songkran Festival 2025” from April 10-20, 2025, at Central shopping centers across the country. The festival will feature 1,000 events nationwide, blending culture and entertainment for a truly unforgettable experience.
A major highlight will be the appearance of Victoria Kier Thelwig, Miss Universe 2024, as “Universe Songkran Queen 2nd Consecutive Year”, alongside queens from four continents, who will serve as global cultural ambassadors, showcasing the beauty of Songkran to the world.
The event is set to elevate Thailand’s tourism image, stimulate the economy, and position Thailand among the world’s top 10 must-visit festival destinations, driving significant growth during Q2 of the year.
CPN partners with leading government and private sector organizations both domestically and internationally, such as Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ministry of Culture, Plan B Media Public Co, Garena Online (Thailand) Co, Chang Mineral Water, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co, Mandom Corporation (Thailand) Limited, Unilever Thailand, Ltd., Saha Pathanapibul Plc., and others Thai Life Insurance Plc., and Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Plc, to promote its campaign.

To serve these varying lifestyles and expectations, CPN curate a one-of- a-kind Songkran celebration across all 29 branches, combining cultural richness with modern entertainment.
Key highlights includes showcases cultural products from all 77 provinces-modernized to elevate Thai craftsmanship on a global stage. At some selected branches nationwide also feature local markets to shop, taste, and explore regional Thai cuisine.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (as of April 2, 2025), during Songkran (April 12–16), the country is expected to generate 26.5 billion baht in tourism revenue—up 8% from the previous year—driven by 476,000 international tourists (+3% YoY), contributing 7.32 billion baht, and 4.42 million domestic trips (+6% YoY), generating 19.24 billion baht.
