This new lineup meets all consumer needs through intelligent AI technology, which enhances comfort by learning user behaviors and adapting to indoor conditions, including temperature and humidity. LG DUALCOOL AI Air, with dual inverter technology, featuring advanced AI innovations will comprehensively address three key consumer needs of optimal cooling comfort, wider air distribution, clean air through multi-stage filtration and purification, effectively tackling PM2.5 and energy saving.
The new LG DUALCOOL AI Air lineup comprises three models, featuring a sleek, modern design that complements any home decor style.
The company plans to spend 100 million baht on marketing budget to promote newest LG’s air conditioner and hire “Jeff Satur” popular singer as its brand ambassador, to share insights on smart living in the digital age.
The LG DUALCOOL AI Air residential air conditioner lineup is available in capacities ranging from 9,000 to 24,000 BTU across three models: LG DUALCOOL AI Air (SAQ), LG DUALCOOL AI Air (SCQ), and LG DUALCOOL (SEQ), with prices starting from 20,000 baht.
Mr Amnaj added that LG expects to sell 154,000 residential air conditioners this year, an increase of 30% from last year of 118,000 units. It aims to gain sales of its air conditioner for 2.3 billion baht, up from last year's revenue of 1.6 billion baht.
The company also sets to become top 5 market leader in the residential air conditioner market with a 8% market share, up from 6-7 % shares, ranking between the sixth or seventh last year.
The total market for residential air conditioners in Thailand is expected to be worth 32.61 billion baht, an increase of 14% from the previous year. Though the growth rate of air conditioner market will be 6 % this year, it still has potential to grow due to the penetration rate of air conditioner in Thai household is still only 43-44% when compares to other electrical home appliance.
Although the demand of the overall air conditioner market in 2025 will be lower than last year, Mr Amnat is confident that LG will become one of the top 5 market leaders in Thailand’s air condition market.
