Meliá Hotels International marks a major milestone as AWC’s inaugural project in the city, as part of The Aquatique Destinations Pattaya, a flagship project under AWC’s Lifestyle Destination and company’s mega mixed-use development.

Wallapa Traisorat, AWC’s chief executive officer and president said that “Meliá Pattaya Hotel, Thailand” is its first property on Eastern Coast of Thailand. This vibrant destination blends Meliá’s signature Spanish-inspired hospitality with the dynamic charm of Pattaya, offering both international and domestic travelers an unparalleled seaside sanctuary. A key highlight of this hotel is the city’s first-ever Lay Beach Club, designed to provide a luxurious and immersive beachfront experience. As part of The Aquatique Destinations Pattaya, AWC’s Lifestyle Destination, featuring six hotels with a total of 30 billion baht invested in long-term developments, which includes 2 billion baht allocated for the hotel itself, this property and the long-term investment mark a significant milestone in redefining Pattaya’s tourism landscape, boosting local prosperity by creating jobs and economic value for surrounding communities.

Within its 234 rooms, guests will discover a design concept that blends contemporary vintage aesthetics and authentic local narratives,’’ he said.
