The Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC) and China Energy Engineering Group, a global energy company from China, signed an MoU to jointly drive green investment and create sustainability in the EEC area.
Chula Sukmanop, EEC’s secretary-general, and Hu De Ming, general manager and party secretary of China Energy Group Southern Head Quarter and chairman and party secretary of China Energy Southern Construction and Investment Corporation, jointly signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the cooperation on Eastern Economic Corridor to establish a regional cooperation network. Two agencies will jointly drive investment in targeted industries and promote green economic development in the EEC area.
Senior executives and relevant officials from both parties attended the event. Under the MoU, EEC and China Energy Engineering Group Southern Construction Investment Co will jointly promote investment and development in the energy sector in the EEC area, especially in targeted industries, clean and renewable energy, smart city development, smart transportation systems, and environmentally friendly industries.
EEC will provide information on investment guidelines for various projects, provide privileges, and facilitate investors from China, which both parties share common goals to drive investment for sustainable development in the EEC area.
China Energy Engineering Group Southern Construction Investment Co is a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group Co, located in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, which is a world-renowned large conglomerate and plays an important role in investment and construction in southern China.
The group specializes in many areas such as surveying and design, power plant construction, renewable energy, infrastructure. The company also aims to support the global energy transition to achieve sustainable development.
