“We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with Hotel Okura, building on the success of The Okura Prestige Bangkok to launch the world-first Okura Cruise on the Chao Phraya River. This launch is a significant milestone in the "AWC River Journey Project," which aims to strengthen riverside destinations,” Wallapa Traisorat, AWC's chief executive officer and president, said.
The Okura Cruise invites global travellers to explore the Chao Phraya's charm with a menu meticulously curated by Yamazato restaurant, a recipient of the MICHELIN Plate.
“This project reflects our commitment to offering innovative and luxurious experiences that connect people to the rich cultural and natural beauty along the river, while celebrating the timeless elegance of Japanese traditions and the vibrant heritage of Thailand,” she said.

With its thoughtful concept and unique experiences, including traditional Japanese rituals such as Origami for auspicious wishes, the cruise offers the dining experience for dinner and is perfect for luxurious private charters and MICE events, creating meaningful and memorable experiences that celebrate Japanese culture and artistry.
At the heart of the Okura Cruise is its exceptional dining experience, complemented by a wide range of innovative drink offerings. Guests can indulge in two curated culinary including Kaiseki Set , which highlights the use of seasonal ingredients to reflect the beauty of nature while Teppanyaki Set provides an immersive chef’s table experience.
The Okura Cruise’s design is a seamless blend of Japanese craftsmanship and modern sophistication, embodying elegance in every detail.
Inside, the cruise immerses guests in timeless Japanese design elements, such as the rooftop Sake Bar, an origami-inspired retreat surrounded by a glimpse of the golden prosperous Suiseki Zen Garden and seating overlooking the Chao Phraya River, a first-of-its-kind in Thailand.
In addition the cruise boasts exclusive front-deck seating, offering the most intimate and romantic spot onboard with 360-degree views of the Chao Phraya River. For larger gatherings, the multi-purpose platform on the roof deck serves as an exclusive venue for weddings, performances, and private events, all set against the enchanting riverscape. As Bangkok’s first dedicated Floating MICE facility, the cruise is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and adaptable spaces, accommodating up to 100 guests.
The typical roundtrip cruise runs from early evening until late evening, offering a luxurious journey along the river. Guests boarding the Okura Cruise begin their journey at the exclusive Okura reception at Asiatique the Riverfront Destination.Onboard, the crew dressed in kimono-inspired uniforms delivers the signature Omotenashi service, ensuring personalized and heartfelt care.
