Minor Hotels will operate another 500 hotels worldwide within 2029, bringing its total to reach 1,000.
Of the total, 50 hotels will come from India market and the remaining will come from other parts of the world. It expects to increase its hotel number in Asia region to 100 within the next two years.

“India is one of our priority market to expand in the next five years because its economic size ranks the third largest in the world while the number of middle income people is about 300 million people. We have already opened Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel in India, its great started,” Puneet Dhawan, head of Asia at Minor Hotels, said.
Minor Hotels owns and operates more than 550 hotels across eight brands globally. Currently, the group operates over 60 hotels across 11 countries in Asia, offering more than 8,800 rooms. Beyond its NH and NH Collection openings in Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, Minor Hotels expanded its portfolio with several launches across its premier brand. Recent openings in Asia include Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel, Anantara Ubud Bali Resort in Indonesia, and Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel in India.
The company plans to expand 10 hotels in Asia region next year including 3 in China and the remaining in Thailand and others.
The company is looking for expanding new hotels in Japan and Philippines for the first time and Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore are also in its business pipeline. Almost hotels , which will be expanded across Asia, will be under asset right strategy.
This year, the company has managed NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard, the first NH-branded hotel in Bangkok and the sixth in Asia.

Naowarat Arunkong, general manager at NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard, said that NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard offers 309 rooms and suites across nine categories, ranging from 28 to 66 square meters with price range of 3,500-7,500 baht per room. The newly refurbished rooms feature earthy tones and contemporary furnishings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The hotel locates in prime location, just 200 meters from Nana BTS Station and surrounded by shopping centers, top restaurants, and leading hospitals.
NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard marks the debut of the NH brand in Bangkok, as part of Minor Hotels strategy to expand NH’s footprint in Asia. Its core guest base has primarily been leisure travelers from the Middle East, and after rebranding, it has driven growth in European bookings since October launch.
Despite the Q3 marking the traditional low season in Thailand, RevPAR grew 12% in the quarter, thanks to a steady influx of international tourists and thriving domestic travel. Occupancy increased two percentage points year-on-year to 66%. Minor's yield optimisation strategy drove a 9% ADR increase and a 2% occupancy increase, showcasing the company's ability to attract diverse and lucrative traveller segments year-round.
Minor Hotels had a net profit of 3.1 billion baht for the first nine months of 2024, marking a 13% year-on-year increase. Year-to-date revenues reached 100.2 billion baht,11% higher than last year and exceeding budget projections. This impressive performance was mainly led by hotels in Europe and Thailand.
“We are optimistic about Thailand’s tourism landscape next year due to the government plans to attract more foreign tourists, continuously increase of Indian travelers.
