Thaiwatsadu Co, a leading retailer of construction materials and home decoration under CRC , has opened its first store in Phrae to serve a rising demand in real estate and construction materials in the province and neighbouring northern region.
Suthisarn Chirathivat, the company’s chief executive officer, said that the company spent 350 million baht to build Thaiwatsadu
in Phrae, located on National Highway (bypass road), part of Asian Highway Route 13. It is easy access to Phrae city centre and surrounding areas. Known as the ‘gateway to Lanna,’ Phrae’s proximity to Lampang, Phayao, Uttaradit, and Sukhothai enhances Thaiwatsadu’s reach to customers in Phrae and neighbouring northern provinces.
Thaiwatsadu’s Phrae branch has a space of 18,000 square metres, positioning itself as a comprehensive retail hub for construction and home improvement, aimed at meeting demand from all sectors — construction, renovation, remodelling, and home repair.
Phrae is an emerging province with high growth potential in agriculture, SME business, and tourism. In 2024, the province anticipates over 900,000 visitors, generating more than 2.2 billion baht in revenue. Phrae’s gross provincial product (GPP) also saw a 2.77% increase as of June this year. Government policies promoting local enterprise and encouraging new business have led to greater demand in real estate and construction materials in this high-growth region.
“Expanding Thaiwatsadu into Phrae is part of our commitment to supporting local economic growth in this significant northern city, known as the ‘ gateway to Lanna,”he said
The establishment of the first Thaiwatsadu branch in Phrae highlights both the economic potential of the province and its growth trajectory. With an increasing demand for construction and home improvement materials, Thaiwatsadu aims to fulfil these needs by offering over 40,000 products from leading brands, covering construction materials, electrical equipment, tools, tiles, roofing, paints, chemicals, water pumps, sanitary ware, furniture, and appliances, catering to contractors, business owners, professionals, and homeowners alike.
The branch also offers in-store expert advice and online shopping options available 24/7 at www.thaiwatsadu.com, along with Click & Collect, Chat & Shop service via Thaiwatsadu’s LINE, and Call Centre 1308, tailored to today’s modern lifestyles.
Driving local economic growth across multiple dimensions
Thaiwatsadu Phrae will play a key role in fostering economic growth across the industrial, real estate, and construction sectors in line with Phrae’s 2024 Industrial Development Plan, which promotes sustainable growth and invites investment in production, marketing, and logistics. Thaiwatsadu also creates over 200 local jobs, enhancing employment opportunities and income for the community, aiming for stable, long-term growth.
“With ongoing development in Phrae’s infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and industry, demand for construction and home renovation materials is set to grow,” added Mr Suthisarn.
Thaiwatsadu Phrae is the 86th Thaiwatsadu branch nationwide, with a combined total of 102 Thaiwatsadu and BnB home branches across more than 50 provinces.
