This collaboration involves blending SAF with jet fuel (Jet A1) and pioneering its delivery via pipeline to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports. This pilot project serves to prepare the infrastructure to support SAF production and utilization, enhancing economic opportunities and establishing leadership in clean energy within Southeast Asia.

Bangchak has invested over 8.5 billion baht in developing SAF production from used cooking oil through its subsidiary, BSGF Co. The construction of the SAF production unit at Bangchak Refinery in Phra Khanong is progressing as planned, with production expected to commence in early Q2 of 2025, with a capacity of 1 million liters per day.
