DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts from Hong Kong debuts its first store at Gaysorn Amarin in Bangkok.

Matthew Lamming, the company’s co-founder & CEO, said that the company opens the first branch of DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts restaurant on the space of 90 square metres at the ground floor of Gaysorn Amarin complex . The interior design, inspired by Hong Kong branches with Bangkok's vibrant colors, promises a contemporary dining experience suitable for hanging out with friends.

Thailand is the second country for DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts after Hong Kong. The company aims to open five branches by the end of 2024.

Business of DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts will be expanded via 3 models including delivery shop with 40-50 square metres, a medium restaurant with a size of 120-150 square metres and heavy dine in restaurant. By doing
so, the company will learn about customers and market. Drive-thrus and 24-hour operations will be available in the future.

“With modern, accessible location, the brand reaffirms its reputation for QSR-style pizza and doughnuts. There are three reasons those make our brand, is become customer’s alternative such as innovation in all aspects from technology till training and various business models,” Mr Lamming said.

DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts established in Hong Kong since 2019. At present, the company has operated over 20 branches in Hong Kong.

“I travelled to Thailand many time and saw the opportunity to expand our business here. DOUGH BROS. Pizza & Doughnuts used quality ingredients and make fresh for our pizza and doughnuts. Customers can enjoy a warm, inviting atmosphere with seating for 45 amidst a spacious 90-square-meter area,” he said.

Mr Lamming emphasized that their entry into Thailand aims not just only to compete in the QSR market but also to introduce new food options in Bangkok's QSR market. Their strategy targets health-conscious consumers seeking reasonably priced fast food in convenient settings. This approach underscores their decision to open at Gaysorn Amarin, attracting customers willing to pay for quality.

The brand plans to enhance brand awareness through online channels and social media to reach a younger demographic.

Edmund Rolston, the company’s co-founder & CMO, reiterated the continuous growth of the QSR market, along with emphasizing the brand's commitment to offering diversity, especially to Thai consumers. Highlighted products include the classic pizza served hot with special blended cheese, the Maui Wowie original Italian homemade-style pizza, tweaked to be more fun with full-on pineapple. The Parma featuring high-quality imported Parma ham from Italy, or the Truffle Pizza for truffle lovers, enhanced with Italian summer black truffle that pairs perfectly with sourdough crust. The Pepperoni Supreme, features large slices of pepperoni generously covering the pizza.
