Home Product Center Plc (HomePro), the operator of home decoration and improvement store, plans to spend 20-30 billion baht to expand its business over the next five years.
The budget will be used to invest in technology to enhance its online channel, strengthen its logistic, extend and increase the efficiency of distribution centre.
By doing so, it will help lift up service and shopping experience of customers under “Lifetime Eco-System”.
Weerapun Ungsumalee, the company ‘s managing director, said that as its five years business plan, it will allocate 6-8 billion baht to open 6-8 large HomePro stores in 2024 .Of the total 2-3 stores will be hybrid stores concept, currently with two openings in Khonkaen and Phuket.
Currently, there are 127 HomePro stores across the country and is expected to reach 170 stores over the next five years. To achieve its goal, the company will launch 3S strategies including synergized omnichannel, superior experiences and sustainable innovation.
In addition, the company will strengthen its online channel by increasing services and products, particularly in health categories.
The company expects its revenue to grow in line with the GDP growth, driven by opening new HomePro, MegaHome and hybrid store, providing HomePro and MegaHome under one roof.
Revenue of HomePro 81% comes from Homepro, 17-18% from MegaHome and the remaining is from oversea sales in Malaysia with total 7 stores.
Sales of Malaysia in 2024 are estimated to be nearly last year. The company remains to study its investment in other countries.
