Evolution DC (Thailand) Co , the joint venture between Central Pattana Plc (CPN), SET-listed retail and property developer and Evolution Data Centres, has announced a collaboration with National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), to drive digital technology, meet the demands of cloud computing and data storage businesses, and prepare the infrastructure for the digital economy. This partnership is geared towards propelling Thailand to become an ASEAN digital hub.
Phoom Chirathivat, CPN’s head of alternative investments, said this collaboration with NT will help support Central Pattana’s business ecosystem to be strong and sustainable. With NT’s comprehensive telecommunication network services and digital infrastructure, it will help the data centre business to fully support connections with network service providers and reach large corporate customers with the sustainable data centre to respond to the demands of cloud computing and data storage businesses.
Apparently, CPN has strengths and expertise in developing projects in strategic locations that meet the needs of various businesses. For the development of the Data Centre project, the company has a development plan in a location with great potential, specifically selecting the Bangna area. This location offers a suitable environment with diverse connectivity options, high-security measures, and proximity to power sources.
“With confidence, we believe that we can provide excellent services to both Hyperscalers and Build-to-Suit customers. This will transform Bangna into a significant hotspot for data centre businesses. Our goal is to launch the first phase of services around the year 2026,” he said.
Darren Webb, chief executive officer of Evolution Data Centres, said, the company is delighted to be working with NT to ensure that the company’s data centre project, located in the heart of Bangkok, will have comprehensive fibre connectivity that includes terrestrial and submarine cable networks.

With the cooperation of business leaders from all three organizations, we will make significant progress in developing Thailand’s data centre business into the business model of the future.
