MUJI Thailand offers quality products to MUJI standards priced below 300 baht comprising approximately 1,500 SKUs or 53% of the total items over 3,000 product lines.

All product categories and segments for daily life in every lifestyle are covered, to access a broad range of consumer segments. These are arranged functionally by usage and size of each target group and every consumer spend.

Mr. Masashi Ooka, general manager of Merchandising Division of MUJI RETAIL (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said that MUJI has set one of its missions to provide products and services that are essential to daily life, with genuine quality and ethical value, at fair and affordable prices in order to become an indispensable part of daily life for people. To achieve the mission, MUJI Thailand keeps continuing to create awareness of MUJI items less than 300 baht in every MUJI product category.

MUJI Thailand offers a total 3,000 product lines, from which the proportion of products less than 300 baht has now been expanded to 1,500 SKUs or 53% of the total items in Thailand. This covers every product category and particularly everyday household items and essentials required by consumers looking for quality products at a value price which they can afford, over and over again. The proportions of products under 300 baht reflect the range of product categories currently on offer.

Some 82% of stationery and office equipment, 70% of kitchenware, 65% of health & beauty, 40% of T Shirts, Socks and Innerwear, 22% of bedding, 8% of storage items and 100% of items at MUJI Food and Coffee Corner, are under 300 baht.

Moreover, MUJI continues to improve product development through “selection of materials”, “streamlining of processes”, and “simplification of packaging” in order to provide genuine quality at affordable prices, even as inflation hits products fundamental to daily life.

The proportion of MUJI products less than 300 baht which contribute almost 1,500 SKUs can represent and emphasize our concept of fair price and affordability among Thai consumers.

In the near future, MUJI plans to expand a specific zone for less-than-300THB Items inside the store by gathering items from all product categories together in one area for consumers to be more convenient when shopping.
