Starbucks Thailand aims to double its store number to 800 by 2030.
Nednapa Srisamai, managing director of Starbucks Thailand, said that the company plans to open 335 Starbucks stores during 2023-2030, boosting number of Starbucks stores in total to reach 800, up from 465 stores at present.

The company opens continuously its new stores in Thailand because people is back to spend their lifestyle as normal. Also, the company would like to reaffirm its commitment to accelerate growth across one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic market.
Mrs Nednapa said that the company will open average 30 new Starbucks stores each year during 2023-2030, the same number before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We believe in Thailand’s economy in long term. Thailand is one of Asean’s strategic countries, ” Mrs Nednapa said.
She adds that the company will keep its focus to open more Starbucks Drive -Thru this year to satisfy young lifestyle customers who prefer convenience. The number of Starbucks’s Drive -Thru is possible to reach 100 stores in the future, from now 56.

Mrs Nednapa said that the company will transform Starbucks Reserve® Chao Phraya Riverfront at Iconsiam into the 2nd Community Store and expects the total number of Starbucks Community stores to reach 8 in 2030. Clearly, the new Community Store at Iconsiam will support Starbucks global commitment to open 1,000 Community Stores by 2030.
“The opening of community store speaks to our brand promise to move towards a more sustainable future, as we continue to focus on the wellbeing of our coffee farming communities in the northern part of Thailand,” Mrs Nednapa said, adding that the company will open more Starbucks Greener store and cashless stores in Thailand this year.
