The ultimate goal of this competition, apart from the 22 awards that we have won in the past four seasons, is to find out promising young innovators with the ideas of sustainable energy, natural resources, and environment, and develop them into social business so that the Thai youth will have an opportunity to enhance their competency.

Mr. Sirimet Leepagorn, chief operating officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, revealed that the company hosted the 5thGPSC Young Social Innovator 2022 (GPSC YSI) with an intention to provide opportunities for young people to show their skillful talents.

This arena is opened for the youth to present their creativity and apply their knowledge derived from the class to produce innovations under the theme “Sustainable Energy, Natural resource and Environment”, which can be employed to develop and improve the quality of life in the community and society.

The program got a lot of attention from the youth nationwide, with more than 450 submitted entries in this season. The competition is divided into three categories, including product, invention, and process & service.

“This year, GPSC YSI 2022 has received the highest number of entries since its first season.
