The Emsphere to be opened in December next year

The Mall Group Co., Ltd will open “The Emsphere’’, a multi-faceted retail development, in December next year, bringing Thailand’s second to none in shopping experience.

Supaluck Umpujh, the company’s chairwoman, said that the company allocated 20 billion baht to develop “The Emsphere’’ project on 20 rais of plot land. The opening of the Emsphere will complete its EM District, consisting of The Emporium, The Emquartier and The Emsphere.

The Emphere has two buildings with a retail space of 200,000 square metres. The construction was 90% in advance and is ready for space booking.

‘’The Emphere is designed to be unique, modern, and utilize world-class innovation never-before-seen anywhere,’’Ms Supaluck said.

The development of The Emsphere will be a part of the company’s mission and goal that aims to elevate Thailand to a world leading retail centre with resort destination and entertainment facilities because the three retail projects will fill with retail experiences, tourist attractions, and state-of-the-art entertainment complexes, as well as business centers, trading hubs, luxury fashion destinations, art, technology, lifestyle, living, and dining from over 1,000 leading brands from Thailand and around the world.

‘’We believe that The EM District will play a large part in elevating Bangkok into a role model metropolis and spearheading the economic and social growth of the nation to move forward with innovation and sustainability,’’Ms Supaluck said.

The Emsphere is the latest piece of the puzzle that will fulfill The EM District to perfection, under the concept of “Future Retail” that will gather the latest trends, immersive experiences and futuristic lifestyle.

The project consists of fashion zone for fashionistas from international brands and Thai designer brands. It will also have over 1,000 foodies with various hangout and showcase of the latest technology from around the world in Thailand for the first time.

It also has Ikea city store for the first time in Thailand and Southeast Asia and EMLIVE zone, which is a world-class arena with 20,000 square metres and over 6,000 seats for various activities including concert and fashion show. This ultimate entertainment venue will be under the management of AEG, the entertainment and sports business leader.

‘’We intend to develop this project with many challenging because we have to design each of the three shopping complexes to have its own positioning,’’Ms Supaluck said

The Emporium is the luxury shopping complex, with the new renovation, exterior, and interior, boasting a modern luxury while retaining convenience and accessibility. It is the destination of the new generation’s lifestyle, consisting of high-end shopping centre, office building, atriums for events and recreation, and hideaway park.

The Emsphere will offer the retail experience of the future and make Bangkok the Sleepless Metropolis, providing the entertainments, immersive experiences and innovations from sunlight to sunlight. Also, it creates business opportunities for brands, entrepreneurs, retail shops, and new businesses and create over 10,000 jobs.
